On Mafia Island off Tanzania’s in Africa sea turtles are hunted normally for meat. That began to change in 2002
A Marine biologist named Cathrine Muir  has gotten children involved and teenagers teach adults  about sea turtle and why they are important. Fisherman are getting money for turning sea turtles into scientist to check and release. The hunted has almost completely stopped.
