Sarah Showalter Christmas 2005

A picture of me taken at Christmas in 2005.

This photo of me is part of a larger family portrait that we took at Christmas time in 2005. It was a very difficult portrait to coordinate because there are six people in my immediate family (including myself).

About Me

I grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I attended Schenley High school and studied German for four years in their International Studies magnet. I then went on to Edinboro University and received my BS in Art Education.

I am currently teaching art at Seoul American Elementary School in Seoul, Korea. I have lived in Seoul for the last 2 years and am planning on staying a third year. After that, I may move on to another location.

I will be spending my summer at home with family and friends. When I am not traveling, I will be working on this webdesign class as well as studying for the GRE. I hope to be accepted into the University of Missouri's Master's in Education Technology program.

Operating Systems and Browsers That I Have Access to:

1. Windows

  • Windows XP: Currently Installed on my Desktop and Laptop.
  • Windows 2000: Currently installed on my parent's computer.
  • Windows 98: I'm sure my oldest little brother who is studying Computer Engineering still has a copy of this on some ancient machine in my parent's house.

2. Browsers- I use all of these for web devlopment testing purposes.
